The Sisters, students and the staff community of Maronite College of the Holy Family in the presence of Sr Marie Raymond & Sr Marie Celeste today celebrated joyfully the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord at Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral. Father Tony spoke about how the Holy Spirit works through us so that Jesus can be transfigured in our lives. A person who was Christ-like and who allowed Christ to transfigure in his life was Patriarch Elias Howayek, the founding Father of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family. In the Liturgy, we also raised our thanksgiving prayers to God for elevating our founder to be Venerable Patriarch Elias Howayek, Man of providence.
