On the occasion of Independence Day and in the name of the Honorable Patriarch Elias Howayek, Patron of the Great Lebanon, Lebanon the Message, a divine sacrifice was held at the University of the Holy Family – Batroun of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family, on the intention of Lebanon and the Lebanese expatriates in Sydney-Australia Friends of the Congregation who helped, with financial support for needy families, and their support has not stopped, and it has culminated today in the revival of the “Loaf of Howayek” day for the distribution of bread and food aid.
A large number of young people from different groups and apostolic movements participated in this day to help in packing and distributing bread, including the Marian apostolic movement whose choir revived the celebration of the Divine Sacrifice.
