Volunteers SFM
The volunteers group of the Congregation of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family organized their annual apostolic camp in the towns of Bkarzala, Al-Qloud and Sisaouq Al-Akaria.
The team visited all the houses and families in the villages, in collaboration with the leaders of the Marian Apostolic Movement – Bkarzala. They prayed with people, listened to their needs and shared their joys.
At the end of the camp, the team distributed 60 food rations to the most needy families, and took care of the cleaning of Ain Al-Quloud, which is intended for the inhabitants of neighboring towns.
In terms of training, the team received Mr. Ziad Suleiman from the “Ruh Zour Hohn Bi baython” association and Mr. Roméo Bou Melhem, trained in “Leadership towards a better future”. Volunteer Rachel Satouf also provided training on the essentials of visitation and social work, and similarly volunteer Ali-Elias Shaker provided training on art therapy.
The camp concluded with the Divine Liturgy with His Excellency Monsignor Youssef Soueif and with the inhabitants of the city of Baqrzala.
The atmosphere of our camp this year was crowned with fraternal joy, gratuitousness and family spirit.
